Aaron Alexander

Aaron K. Alexander has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. He got interested in comics because he wanted to make movies, but this was when he was a kid, which meant movies were somewhat an impossibility at the time. After an award-winning stint as a student editorial cartoonist during his university days, an internship with a major independent comic studio (Periscope Studios), and a BA in Studio Art, he has been doing freelance illustration and irregularly self-publishing his autobiographical comic strip Acting Adult, among other obscure features. By day he is a graphic artist for a major outdoor company. He would love to get a graduate degree in the future and teach cartooning. He lives with his wife, Hilary, a full-time jewelry artist (lumafina), and son, a baby, in zany Portland, Oregon.
